Kelly Busch is the mother of three children, two young adult daughters and a young teen son with autism. She has held numerous committee positions including chairperson of the Broward County Autism Committee (ACE) for six years, Chairperson of Broward’s ESE Advisory Council, member of the BCPS Superintendent’s Roundtable, Best Practices for Inclusive Education Committee, Florida Developmental Disability Council’s Partners in Policymaking Advisory and ESE Advisory representative for School Board member Robin Bartleman. She works with The Autism Notebook Magazine and co-founded FAN – Family Autism Network and Responding to Autism. Kelly has been an activist working to improve the lives of individuals with autism and providing resources, guidance and support for families in the state of Florida for the last decade.
